Adelle Lin
Adelle Yingxi Lin (she/her, they/them) is an artist and technologist exploring resilience and interconnectedness through performance, immersive installations, and extended reality. Bridging ancient rituals with contemporary technology, they create spaces for collective healing, shaped by their diverse upbringing in Southeast Asia. Their practice integrates amulet-making, scroll calligraphy, augmented reality, motion capture, and gaming platforms, inviting audiences to inhabit the work and explore embodied presence. Previously, Adelle worked as an innovation engineer at Intel and as a key technologist for Leo Villareal Studio on projects like Illuminated River, Paris Fashion Week, and the Tokyo Olympics. A member of NEW INC, they have participated in residencies with One of Many in Jordan and Harvestworks in NYC. Adelle’s work has been featured at SIGGRAPH, Flux Factory, Burning Man, and the ChangWon Sculpture Biennale, with talks at NYU, MoMA PS1, and the New Museum. They have also appeared on Al Jazeera’s The Stream for their activism in virtual worlds.
