Ashley Venom is a Haitian-American artist, DJ, cultural organizer and event producer. Her work is rooted in empowering marginalized communities and liberation for all oppressed people. Venom's fusion of techno, electro, industrial and Miami Bass alongside influences from her Haitian heritage have shaken the walls of venues in Miami, New York, Mexico, London and Berlin. Her musical journey began in Miami in 2013, where she would harness and showcase the city's creative underground community with monthly music and art events, known as The Void. In 2018, Venom became the music program director for Fempower, curating monthly mixes by femme identifying DJs, booking talent for events and parties, and co-founding Masisi, a Queer Black Diasporic party centered around Caribbean queer expression.
