Caratoes is a Belgian-Hong Kong worldbuilder, muralist, performer and immersive installation maker who transforms space into emotional universes, leaving visitors changed.

With a background in biochemistry and game design, she left a prestigious role at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam to return to Hong Kong–where the language she had long been searching for was found on the walls of the city. For over a decade Caratoes lived nomadically, carrying her practice across continents, until recently planting roots in New York City.

Caratoes has completed 30+ murals across 24 locations worldwide, from the streets of Bali to the landscapes of Iceland. She has collaborated with Nike, Facebook, and Four Seasons; featured work in Juxtapoz and Hi-Fructose; and exhibited at Saatchi Gallery London.

She builds worlds for everyone who never had the words for what they felt.
