David Schwarz

David Schwarz is an award-winning creative leader and founding partner of HUSH, an experience design firm based in New York. David has spent his career designing experiences that integrate architecture, brand storytelling and technology for some of the largest organizations in the world. Since co-founding HUSH sixteen years ago, he has developed numerous projects across consumer technology, sport, luxury, financial services and biotech categories, most notably for: Meta, Barclays, Uber, Google, Nike, United Therapeutics, Vornado, Related, among other industry leading organizations.

David has been featured in publications and podcasts across design, architecture and business media, including Creativity, Fast Company, Surface, Dezeen, Inc. Magazine, Communication Arts, Cool Hunting, FWA, Archinect, Design Milk, Design Wanted, Design Nerds Anonymous, The Futur Podcast, among others. He’s spoken at conferences for the AIGA, The One Show, SEGD, NeoCon, SXSW, AdWeek, Cannes Lions, FITC, among others. He is also a mentor at New, Inc., the New Museum’s incubator program for art, technology, and design.

Over the last several years, David has led the firm’s shift in its design practice to better apply sustainability principles and influence the way major organizations improve their material and technological investments. To do this, the studio developed a strategic design framework that rigorously considers energy use, material choices, and design lifecycle in ways that maximize both creativity and sustainability outcomes.
