Femi Adeyemi has been immersed in London's underground scene from a very young age, working in record shops and promoting clubs. Disenchanted with commercial radio, as well as inspired by pirate radio and the free programming of university radio stations, in 2011 he set up NTS, an unprecedented 24/7 radio station that has become a global platform for music discovery. In addition to its London studio, NTS has permanent studios in Manchester, Los Angeles and Shanghai, opens pop-ups on every continent, with over a dozen Infinite Mixtapes – infinite playlists- its own record label, live events, video-streams and collaborations. All this without straying even one iota from its original slogan: "Don't Assume".
