Ian Erickson

DISC

Ian Erickson is the founding Editor-in-Chief of DISC, an experimental publication exploring media, technology, and environments through themed books, events, and products. Trained as an architect, his work spans buildings, software, and exhibitions with a focus on material systems and media cultures. He was on the curatorial team for the Pavilion of Turkey at the 2021 Venice Biennale of Architecture, a fellow at Rhizome, and has practiced with Leong Leong and Stock-A-Studio. His work has been exhibited at MoMA Warsaw, ETH Zürich, the Chicago Architecture Biennale, and the 2025 Venice Biennale of Architecture. His writing appears in Log, Vestoj, Paprika!, and more. Ian holds an M.Arch from Harvard GSD and a B.A. and Certificate in New Media from UC Berkeley.
