Junte draws inspiration from Casa Pueblo of Adjuntas, a locally renowned self-sustaining environmentalist organization recognized as a leader in the community. Junte is a place of gathering, where global and local communities engage in cultural exchange through the arts. Participants share, learn, and connect across various cultures with the aim of fostering vibrant local communities. Junte brings together artists, architects, engineers, writers, and creatives to contribute to building physical and creative spaces of inquiry. Junte thrives as a dynamic cultural force, weaving together diverse voices and disciplines to nurture creativity, collective inquiry, and sustainable community-building in Adjuntas and beyond. The word junte, derived from the act of gathering, reflects the group’s emphasis on horizontal collaboration and collective creative expression.
